| 建国前,许多学者即对中国钢铁工业的发展情形进行了初步考察,内容多为供政府施政参考的统计资料、调查报告、厂矿介绍、建设总结或时评等,对今天的历史研究有较大的史料价值；建国后,特别是从改革开放至20世纪末,学界主要侧重于对具体钢铁企业的历史考察；进入新世纪,从行业史角度进行整体考察成为区别于前一阶段研究的显著特征。反思已有的研究成果,中国近代钢铁工业发展史的研究在构建体系、理顺思路、拓宽领域以及加强基础研究力度等方面还存在不足。 |

| Many scholars researched the establishment and development of the iron and steel industry in China before 1949, though not in a comprehensive way. These researches yielded statistics, survey reports, descriptions, summaries and comments, which have great historical value for today’s research. Since 1949, especially during the period from the introduction of the reform and opening-up policy to the end of the 20th century, academic attention has shifted to the history of a specific iron and steel company. In the new century, examining the history of the industry as a whole turns out to be a distinguishing feature. This article contemplates the researches that have been conducted, holding that in the study of the iron and steel industry in China, more efforts should be devoted to constructing a comprehensive system, sorting out the different thoughts, broadening the research domain and enhancing basic researches. |
